When sending a personal message to all users, no emails are sent to them

The private messaging system works well when sending PMs to one or more site users. At the same time, the corresponding users receive PMs in their personal messages tab and emails about the availability of PMs to their address.

But when sending a message from admin to all users of the site (by clicking the small globe at the end of the “To” line), a problem arises. Personal messages in the personal message tabs are received by everyone, but emails about this are not received by anyone.

In the "Private Message System" plugin settings, the Global Messages parameter (as also System Messages parameter) is enabled.

What's wrong?

It doesn't send an email notification for global private messages at this time as we don't have a way to scale large amounts of emails like that right now (outside of CBSubs and its CBSubs Mailer usages). In CB 3.x we'll have a processing queue and be able to batch the emails. For smaller sites sending an email to 100 users would work fine, but imagine a site with 30,000 and a global PM emailed all at once. That usually would crash their server as 99% of our users are on shared hosting environments. In short nothing is wrong there just isn't a notification for global PMs.

Perhaps it is worth (temporarily) explaining the current action of this option in the PMs description?  Возможно, стоит (временно) убрать эту опцию из описания ПМ?
