Can't Enter More Than 241 Dropdown Items

I am testing creating the following two fields:

   1. Drop Down (Single Select)
   2. Drop Down (Multi-select)

I tried to create a country list with 249 items.

However, community builder does not allow me to enter more than 241 total items.

My hosting provider indicated they have no limitations on the total amount of dropdown items. 

They suggested I contact the developer to solve the issue.

Any assistance with this issue is greatly appreciated.

Those field types are not meant to be used for such large lists. You'll hit server input limits trying to save that field. When you need that many options you should be using CB Query Field and its Query Select type so you can build a list from a custom database table. It can also support making it searchable so it's a lot easier for your users to use as 249 dropdown options is horrible usability with a standard select. If you insist on still doing this contact your host and have them increase the server input limits.

I contacted my hosting company as you suggested.

The issue was solved taking the following action:

- "I have tried to increase the post_max_size and max_input_vars on the cPanel >> PHP Selector tool."
