asign group to registration form was created by furtice
I've set up different groups inside my Joomla site; Newsletter, Guest and member.
Because i also use eventbooking component i've set the 'guest' group as joomla default-group after login.
Now i want the users that use the CB-regatration form being asigned to the member-group but can't find where to set this up.

I hope my question is clear.

Only way to do that is through CB Auto Actions. We don't provide a registration usergroup parameter separate from Joomlas. I don't recommend setting Joomlas registration usergroup to Guest and can't see why an event booking extension would have you deliberately break registration like that. If you need Guest behavior in Joomla see the below Joomla documentation on how to correctly configure it.

Done, and working as it should, thx!

But now i'm facing a new challenge...
...somehow i can't make it work to get a mail sent when a new member has registered.
What settings should make this work?

I suggest reading through the CB Primer Book which you can download below.

www.joomlapolis.com/downloads/documents

Additionally we've a set of videos that walk you through CB configuration.

Registration emails should already be sending by default and are configured in CBs configuration page.
