Getting lots of spam registrations was created by lillianfidler
Hi, I have CB set to approve registrations in order to cut down on the spam. However, we are getting several per day and I'm wondering if there is any way that we can cut down on the spammers that are trying to register? I'm sure there must be something that I'm missing that should be turned on or off :blush:

Depends on the type of spam. If they're automated registrations you'll need a captcha of some kind to block them, which CB AntiSpam can provide. If they're manual registrations from a human spammer there isn't much you can do to stop them as they're just a person registering and only way to really deal with them is see if their registrations have a pattern (e.g. same email domain, ip address range, etc..) and block the pattern.

Once purchased and installed simply publish it and its antispam_captcha field.
