Hi,

After many years of using the site, users are suddenly getting this message on login:

Error
Session expired or cookies are not enabled in your browser. Please press "reload page" in your browser, and enable cookies in your browser. Please refresh/reload page before filling-in.

We are running an older version of Community Builder 2.0.14 (because when we try to update, the menus stop working - but thats another issue)

But the site has been working with 2.0.14 for a good while with the latest versions of joomal.

When searching online, there has been reference to Rewrite URLs causing this issue, but at the moment they are disabled (as they always have been)

What could be causing the issue here?

3rd party accept cookie banners can cause that if they block the security token cookie, which they shouldn't be doing. Another cause could be browser settings not allowing for cookies. This isn't really an issue anymore in latest releases of CB since we've moved the security token to Joomla session instead of using separate cookies.
