JExtBOX syntax does not work in Community Builder text boxes.

We use the JExtBOX plugin to display mathematical formulas: jextbox.com/

For example, we can insert this code in an article to display the formula for 2(squared):

$2^2$

Example: math.rutgers.edu/2-uncategorised/1565-test-equation

However, the above code does not work in Community Builder (2.4.2) text boxes. You just see the code, not the formula.

Is it possible to allow JExtBOX plugin syntax to work in Community Builder fields?

While editing a text field? No, as it's a Joomla content plugin and it doesn't work live like that. You can however use it in a Custom HTML field if you enable content plugins for the field. It can also work in the Layout parameters of existing fields if content plugins are enabled for layouts.
