Confirmation email and password issue was created by scubabyss
Bonjour à tous

I use CB to send the confirmation email.
When I create a user on back end and do not provide a password, The received mail contains the password generated by the system.

If I decide to provide the password myself and use a special character such as >, the non-html received email contains a password that cannot works as the > is replaced by >

Il I ask for html email, then the password is OK but the mail is not formatted such as

Bienvenue tu teste, Votre demande est traitée. Bien à vous / Kind Regard

Non-HTML emails will have < and > html encoded. It's expected that the email client should reverse this. GMail, Yahoo, Outlook, and Thunderbird all appear to reverse it fine. I'm guessing whatever email client you're using is not or it's being double encoded somehow. Have you tried different email clients?
