"Terms and conditions" blocking registration after upgrade

5 years 7 months ago #311423 by marsplanete
Hi there ! First, I hope you'll understand my quite-bad english...
I just upgrade CB yesterday, and now my registration form blocks at the end, saying Terms and Conditions are required... but are already checked...
The field is mandatory, and it is well checked, but an error message appears at submission, so the whole registration is blocked.
Do you have an idea where to search to find a solution ?
Thank you by advance
All the best

Well... maybe a bit "strong", but i solved this by re-injecting a backup of the single table #__comprofiler_fields (backup before upgrading CB)...
And it works again well...
Hope it won't give other problems...
If it could help.

Sounds like you set a Registration Default Value for your terms and conditions field, but set it to an incorrect value. It accepts 1 or 0 only as the default. Opt out however in most cases is not legal and not evidence of consent (especially true for GDPR) so I do not recommend setting a default for terms and condition fields.
