I'm using template Purity III and have CB Login module in sidebar-2. On large screens, the selection box for "remember me" is a little bit in a wrong place (above the text) but everithing works fine.

On the other hand, on small screens, this box is pretty large and lays over the "Login" button. So, instead of logging in when you click this button, you select the "remember me" option and there is no way to login on small screens.

If I use the standard Joomla login module, everything is fine. On large screens as well as on small screens. Therefore, I presume that this is not a problem for the template but for CB.

Your template is applying custom styling that isn't compatible with CB. You'll need to contact the developer of your template and will probably have to make a layout override for CBs login module then customize the layout to fit your template.

Is it a problem if I use the standard login instead of the CB login? What are the pro's and con's?

Yes, none of CBs login events will fire if you do that. Our Joomla system plugin will however likely intercept your usage of Joomlas login and redirect to CBs though.
