Hi!
I am new to community Builder and I had to migrate one of my client's sites.
I noticed that their Joomla site hadn't been backed up since April 2018.
How do I get those old posts removed from Community Builder so we can start fresh with current month (December)?

Yes. My client failed to backup the site for 5 months which is NOT good. So when I did the Akeeba Kickstart, it sent the old post with it.
My boss wants the old ones removed so the area for advertising looks current.

I don't know what you mean by old post. Old post where? If you mean old users you can delete them in CB > User Management.
