Email is not sent for a rejected connection was created by giorgionasis
Hallo,

I have seen that user is not recieving any mail neither pms if the other user has rejected his invitation for connection. The opposite is working, if he accepts. Is there any configuration for that?

Thank you

CB does not send a connection request rejected notification unless directly specified in API usage. Core CB it self won't send one. It's a negative response and negative responses are discouraged in social platforms. There is no parameter to toggle such notification on at this time.

Hi Kyle and thank you for the response.

I agree for this attitude but I look into the language file and I found that there are messages

'UE_CONNECTIONDENIED_SUB'
'UE_CONNECTIONDENIED_MSG'

So what is the purpose of these ones?

thank you!

A rejection notification can still be sent if forced in an API usage case. CB Connections usage however is no longer utilizing the rejection notification, but since that usage still exists in the API so too does its language strings.
