[SOLVED] Why login module would not display the register link ?

6 years 8 months ago - 6 years 8 months ago #302964 by smalldragoon
Hi there, would someone have insights on why the CB module login is not displaying the link to register ?
double checked rights in case of and of course, the fact that I was using CB modules / link instead of the default one ....
So, I tried to create for testing a direct link from a menu to the registration page ... it says that I'm allowed to access the page ????
Thanks

Within Users > Manage > Options set "Allow User Registration" to "No". Within CB > Configuration > Registration set "Allow User Registration" to "Yes, Independent of CMS "allow registration"".

You have to have a CB Login module. The login page just loads the first login module available. The module doesn't have to be on a position actually displayed on your template though. Suggest reading the CB Primer Book which you can download below.
