I need to prohibit users to enter a phone number at registration (and edit profile).
I know I can use the settings fields (screenshot)
But I would like to know the syntax to prohibit phone number.
Forbidden words is just a literal string comparison. It's not going to help in regards to a dynamic string like a phone number. You will probably need to add more strict validation by using a custom REGEXP for "Authorized input".
