Username as Email in registration

Hi everybody,
I've searched for past posts but they are really old.

Is possible to hide the username and let the user register with only the email?
The username (that I will never use) must be like the email.

I already tried to hide from every label the "username" field, but after registration the username is like the "name" field.

Is it possible?

Turn off the username field for registration and profile edit display in CB > Field Management. You can change what the username fallsback to within CB > Configuration > User Profile (default Name).
