Frontend, no. Backend you need to edit them in CB > User Management. You could automate the usergroup assignment based off whatever conditions you like using CB Auto Actions though, but I suggest becoming familiar with CB first as CB Auto Actions could be overwhelming at first ( explore the demo, try it all! ).
