How to prevent a user uses only space or empty in his real name when registerin?

Hi,

is it possible to have a check on the real name of the user instead of a space?
There is a check on the username but not on the other fields in the register module.
It seems the field can be left empty even if there is a star sign telling it is mandatory.

Because hwat's annoying is that when you edit something in the user account, then when the user has not filled in the real name, you are not able to save it.
So you have to put something in it.

perhaps something else is happening as i am missing some info in the user account.
When searching a user the the real name is present.


but when opening his account, it's gone.


Any idea why this is happening?

If you changed the CB Configuration setting (from single name field to 3 fields) then all existing users will need to update their name fields.

Ah yes, ok makes sense. One can not expect to split any name in three, well it could if you change configuration to 3 fields and rewrite all single line names to 3 line and let it delimit on space.
But that would require a extra plugin or so.
