Template change & broken was created by sekelfek
CB 2.0.14
PHP-Version 5.5.5
Webserver Apache/2.2.15 (CentOS)
Joomla!-Version Joomla! 3.5.1 Stable [ Unicorn ]
Joomla!-Plattform-Version Joomla Platform 13.1.0 Stable [ Curiosity ]

First Problem:
I can't change the template. I have only "Default" in the dropdown menu. In FTP is more templates folders:

Field Name: Community Builder Template
Available options via drop down list:
Default
Luna
osx
webfx
dark
winclassic

Second Problem:
I have click in Tools "Check the Community Builder Plugin database".
After, the CB was broken. In admin-area the style broken and images lost. In frontend all is broken. Completly broken.

OK, this is anything but nice!

Solution to fix the problem:

1. clones the database completely.
2. Install Community Builder new.
3. Set the cloned database as active in the configuration.php

But now the other templates have been lost. There is only the default template.
How so?
How so???

CB 2.0 only has one template - the default one - the others you are seeing are left over from CB 1.9.1 install?

You can create a template over-ride if you want - see the CB Primer Book and Video tutorials - I believe there is one that walks you through overrides.

You can of course just clone the default one and make changes also.

So the update is on 2.0 an upgrade, which relates to the templates?

I have here at the moment big problems because of my website Admin has built over the years a lot of bungling. But he expected praise.

For years he has discouraged Community Builder and many many components, plugins and modules installed. All parallel. So it's a huge garbage dump.
But the site requires only Community Builder, just the best!

For "override" i have answered here: www.joomlapolis.com/forum/6-news-and-publicity/227459-cb-203-template-css-overrides?start=6#281998
