Hello,
the standard-avatars are black png with transparency. And the Theme is with black background. Also black/black. unpleasant.

The font is color: #555555;. It's too dark. It is a "interim solution" for white or black themes?
Better: Make a CSS Override Admin-Side similar in google blogger/blogspot. Or two CSS Selector in PHP (if/else) and a simple selection: bright theme / dark theme.

Have you a solution for this situation?
Child-Theme and Override is unpleasant and hyperbolic for Updates.

Why not a bug?

This CSS edit fix the too dark font-color:

components/com_comprofiler/plugin/templates/default/template.css

.cb_template .cbUserListFieldLine .cbUserListFieldTitle,

padding-top: 1px;
margin: 0;
}


And change the avatars in the default theme in CB release with no transparency and a (white) border, there is no problem with dark Joomla! templates.
