external captcha in registration was created by rharding
Can I use a non CB captcha during registration? have set one up and it does not appear during registration. just want to know if I am wrong or if it can't be done.

Are you or have you tried using the CB Privacy plugin? It offers a captcha, but also the possibility to use recaptcha, as far as I can remember.

You need the CB Antispam add-on.

so only the cb antispam will work for registration with cb and no external captchas. Thanks for letting me know, I may choose to upgrade in the future but not currently able to afford that.
