First test with default Joomla template and see if things start showing up - if they do the issue is related with your template and you would need to get template provider or CSS expert to help you fix it.

Thanks Nant.
Yes, I did already try the default template & the result was the the same.
It seems to me there must be a problem with the data and/or query. If I just "View Source" from the browser, the data items are not appearing:

><div class="cbUserListRow sectiontableentry1 cbColumns clearfix" style="cursor: hand; cursor: pointer;" id="cbU0"><div class="cbUserListRowColumn cbUserListRowCol1 cbColumn10 col-sm-10"></div></div>

In another Joomla instance I'm using to do testing that had no pre-existing data, this is how the page source appears

><div class="cbUserListRow sectiontableentry1 cbColumns clearfix" style="cursor: hand; cursor: pointer;" id="cbU0"><div class="cbUserListRowColumn cbUserListRowCol1 cbColumn3 col-sm-3"><div class="cbUserListFieldLine cbUserListFL_formatname"><span class="cbListFieldCont cbUserListFC_formatname"><a href=" xyz.club/newjoom/cb-profile/userprofile/User ">UserBob

Is there a way to capture the sql that is used in the underlying query? If I had that I could diagnose if/why the query is coming up empty. I am reasonably familiar with PHP, just not sure where to look for the code that generates this page.

Thanks again.

You must have configured something wrong, or perhaps you have tabs/fields with wrong permissions, so information is not being displayed.

Sorry, I cannot provide further assistance on this.

If you follow the video tutorial on a clean site and cannot get things to work, then post back.

Oh, I've had no problem getting User list to work on a clean site, it's just going to be a lot more work building from scratch rather than migrating from our old site.

If I could find out what SQL is being generated to return the results then I could compare one that works to one that doesn't and zero in on the exact data problem.

Thanks anyway for your time & suggestions.

Simply turning on Joomla debug will enable you to see all SQL queries executed on a page.

Aloha,

Got the same or similar issue here.
Fresh install of latest Joomla and CB. User databases migrated from J1.5 and all background checks and tools are green. Default CB and Protostar template.

Default user list: j3.hey-ai.com/search/userlist
User lists work for logged in users, but show blank (clickable) results publicly.

Profile View is set to Registered. However when I change profiles to be Public, lists are still blank. When I click on a blank result I get forwarded to the corresponding profile, which is not displayed and no error message (e.g. You are not authorized to view this page!) is displayed.
What else I tried: disabled all CB plugins, disabled all Joomla modules and plugins besides CB, disabled Joomla SEF, set profiles to Public again, and turned on Debug. Same on several popular browsers.

Please let me know what else to look for. PM for access.
