Changing CSS on profile pages was created by maestroc
First let me start by admitting that I stink at CSS...

I am trying to edit the template for the profile pages and having issues with the text colors. I have tried a dozen different variations on the css to get the unordered lists to show in black text but they keep showing up in white and thus are not visible with the white background. Could anyone tell me what tag I need to add to fix this? Page is included below:

Also, the only way I seem to be able to get any change to stick is to directly edit the template css file in the comprofiler component directory. I figured I should be able to place the overrides in my joomla template's custom.css file but anything I put in there does not seem to work even though it works for other components. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong there as well?
