Hi there,

Not something urgent, but still something that has been bugging me for some time now.
I am trying to optimize the speed of my website as much as possible, and one of the things that google's pagespeed suggests is the following:
"Remove query strings from static resources"
There, I see the following resources:

www.myserver.com/components/com_comprofiler/js/jquery-1.5.2/jquery-1.5.2.min.js?v=f4bb8547d70254e1
www.myserver.com/components/com_comprofiler/js/tabpane.min.js?v=f4bb8547d70254e1

Questions:
Do we really need those url parameters there?
How can we remove them?

Thanks
Konstantinos

Do we really need those url parameters there?

Yes, they're used for caching.

How can we remove them?

You can't and doing so won't improve performance, but will make it worse as it's used by CB to handle caching.
