Spacing & line breaks in login form was created by jjackson
Hi,
I've read a post about similar problems, but mine are a little different and I'm not sure how to go about solving them.
I'm using the standard Protostar template and have placed the module in the left menu. I've added an image of what it looks like at the moment:

1) The username box is not aligned with the password box. I looks as though the problem is created by a space which is created by the pre-text which is empty. If I add pre text, both username and password boxes align properly.

2) I want the Remember me checkbox to come before the text and at the moment they're on 2 lines.

3) I want the login button to go on the next line after the remember me checkbox and text.

Thanks for any pointers.

So, either it's super obvious or it's an impossible problem?
Any help greatly appreciated.

Most likely a css issue with your joomla template.

Inspect with Firebug to see css that is causing this.

You might need help from your template provider if you lack the css knowledge.

The problem was in the Protostar template with basic css. I had been looking in all the wrong places: all over the css. But it was simply because I had module orientation set to horizontal and the 2 fields had wrapped - it just looked like the orientation was set to vertical. So, problem solved.
