Strange! Setting "Required" for Field causes alignment issues.

Discovered something really strange such that after changing a Field to "Required", the alignment changes badly.

Try this, at backend, create a Field "Test" (e.g. under Registration tab) using radio buttons with values "One", "Two", Three". Set "Required?" to No.

Then at frontend, go to register. You will see the 3 radio buttons displaying nicely at the "Test" field.

Now return to backend and set the "Required?" to "Yes" and save. At the frontend, the 3 values spreads out and the vertical alignment is also off.

Why?

(Using latest versions of Joomla, CB and table-less output.)

So am I and things work here.

Maybe we should both specify what we mean by latest?

Good idea since your latest should be the real latest.

Joomla 2.5.7.
CB 1.9

Did you try the exercise given in the earlier post, Nant?

Yes I did try and it works ok here.

Suggest you download CB 1.9 again (we did do a hot fix so you might not have the real latest), then install over and test again.

If you are still having the same issue then test with the Joomla default teamplate to see if your template is causing this.

And BTW, the latest Joomla version is Joomla 3.0.1 ---- so please next time just post numbers.
