I'm new to Joomla, and the possibilities it gives really appeal to me. For example this Community Builder Module is absolutely a pretty thing. If only I had used it before. so now I am, and I'm having some troubles customizing.
I added a custom field to the user profile and I want to use that value elsewhere on the site as well. I can't figure out how to echo this value since I'm only familiar with php4 and I can't get my mind around the library stuff Joomla is made of.
Let's work with an integer to start with, and let's call the field 'integer', which is currently published as 'contact info' on the user profile page. Could you please be so nice to write the few lines of code to echo this value on another page?
