Hi All,
I have read two posts about this, and I have followed the instructions but I am still having a problem.
background - i had all my users register with a special id for about two weeks which meant I didn't require admin approval during that time; however, I did require a confirmation email. this all worked fine. i then switched the setting over in cb to require admin approval.

i did some menu changes, and I must have made registered my profile link, so after reading the forums, I deleted it, emptied the trash and recreated a public link on a public menu.

i have made sure that all cb plugins are public, but i still get the error: You are not authorized - you must login!" when clicking on the confirmation link.
