CB hangs when I try to save a profile

CB hangs when I try to save a profile was created by clearcage
I have installed latest version (1.4) of CB. When I try to change some fields in a user profile (like confirm user or any such parameter) and save it, the browser hangs for ever. If I kill the window and re-login I find that nothing was saved. I tried different browsers, but of no avail.
