Unwanted users

My site lets 20-30 spam mails register on my site every day ...:blink:
WHY?!?!?
I have security code and more on (see picture) ... what to do?!

Yes, that looks like our captcha plugin, but I do not see you as an advanced member.
Where did you get it?
Are you sure its ours?
How do you know that registrations are automated and not human-driven?

I just activated it after I downloaded CB ... I think. Do not really remember.
And NO I'm not an advanced member ... does it cost anything?!

I'm 100% sure they are automated cause they have same name and username ... and never visit the site.

Yes there is a cost associated with this plugin.
It is offered to Advanced members.
You did not download it from here, so I do not know what it is.

So, we cannot really support something we did not distribute.

Are you sure these account registered through CB and not through Joomla?

Community Builder is free and open-source - nothing to legalize.

Hopefully you downloaded it from here (its free).

The CB Captcha plugin that you might be using is offered to Advanced members, along with all other CB Add-ons and documentation as described here:

The CB Captcha plugin is also GPL, so there is nothing illegal if you found it elsewhere (perhaps not ethical, but not illegal).

Advanced members also get free upgrades of the add-ons for 12 months and priority forum access.
