[SOLVED] Other Logins Fail was created by GoremanX
I'm aware that CB Login is the "only supported login module with Community Builder" yadda yadda yadda.

But sometimes, other login screens come up. I can't help this. For example, when a guest tries to browse to an EasyBlog page that's only accessible to registered users, a page comes up asking for login credentials:

dev.friendlyphotozone.com/manage-your-blog/blog-management

These non-CB pages do not work anymore. Users are unable to login this way. They get a "Component Not Found" error. And that's just one example, many other components and modules appear to be affected by this.

How do I fix it?

You need to install a redirect Joomla plugin.
There are some available on JED.
Kyle has responded many times to similar questions and has given direct links to JED listings that can be used.

So, if you cannot find the relevant items on JED, you can search the forums for Kyle's many suggestions.

If you have problems, let me know and I will search for you.

Maybe my problem resides elsewhere.

Consider the following:

This is a link to "Edit your profile" on our current site
www.friendlyphotozone.com/profile/edit-your-profile

This is a link to "Edit your profile" on the development site
dev.friendlyphotozone.com/your-profile/edit-your-profile

How come the first one displays a proper CB login page, while the other one gives me a 404?

edit: both links point to a menu item that is only accessible to registered users.

Well, guessing that the CB code is the same on both sites - so its not a CB issue.

Try turning SEF off to see if its SEF related.

Turning off SEF does not help:

dev.friendlyphotozone.com/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=userdetails&Itemid=140

Yes, both sites use CB 1.3.1 on Joomla 1.5.22. The site at dev. was a copy of www. to be used as a basis for developing the overhaul of the site. Each was upgraded to CB 1.3.1 at different times. The site at dev. went through CB 1.3 before 1.3.1. The site at www. went straight to CB 1.3.1.
