registration 'email box'

hello there.

obviously community builder is a great extension, but after setting it up, i found a slight problem that i don't quite know how to correct. i uploaded a screen shot so you can understand what i'm referring to better.

basically when you try to register on my site ( www.zhongwenmovie.com ) the place where you enter your email is way too small and far to the left.

i have searched through all the management fields, but haven't located anything that seems to change the email box parameters.

can you please help me to resolve this?

most likely an issue with your template - please switch to default joomla template to verify that this is the case.

youmovies, which is in use, is my 'default' template.

perhaps i just don't understand the concept of default as mentioned, but yes, if i change to another template (for instance, rhuk_milkyway), the email box appears normal.

i see 2 options:

1. ask your template provider to fix the relevant css causing the issue. if you have paid for it there is most likely some support.

2. use firebug to inspect the registration page and identify the relevant css code that is causing the issue then fix it yourself or find someone to fix for you.

i used firebug's inspect element to identify the css code.

the css code that refers to email is:

.email, .print, .pdf {
float: right;
margin: 0 2px 0 0;
width: 16px;

the html code is:

<input type="text" title="Email: Please enter a valid e-mail address. A confirmation email will be sent to this address upon registration." class="email inputbox" size="25" value="" id="email" name="email">

is this the code that should be edited?
