CB Buzz Board

I know there're probably tonnes of Boards out there for CB user profiles, but I did this for a site I'm using and now it's available for download.

This Community Builder plugin allows you to have a Board (or Wall) in your CB User Profiles.

Here are the features:
- Free (as in free beer)
- Admin-customizable looks for the plugin
- Allows users to send to one or many recipients
- Administrator can customize how many posts each user can have on his board
- Smileys are supported
- Users can choose whether or not to restrict viewing and/or posting to his board to people in his Connections list.

hi motd.

This plugin looks really promising but i cant get it to work at all.

ice installed the plugin in the CB plugin installer, published the tab and the plugin.

Ive then uploaded ioncube folder to /components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user

now on each users profile it just displays No buzzes on the board. and i cant find anywhere to add buzzes or change options.

any help would be much apreciated.

This has been resolved.

The CB Menu was unpublished. Once this was published, the controls should be present.

yep thankyou very much. excellent component. i was using profilebook before but that only allows you to comment once.

just one last thing. where abouts can i change the format of the date/time string?

Hi Sam,

You can change it in the file displaytab_view.php inside the views directory.

Change this line from:
[code:1]echo "<td class='cbbuzzboard'>".$entry."</td>";[/code:1]
(displays something like: "2008-05-22 12:08:00")

to something like:
[code:1]echo "<td class='cbbuzzboard'>".date('D M j G:i:«»s T Y', strtotime($entry))."</td>";[/code:1]
(displays something like: "Thu May 22 12:08:00 SGT 2008")
