Does the gallery2/CB integration work the same where each user has his/her own gallery?

Yes

Do their photos show up in their tab in their CB profile?

Yes

Do they have to manually create their own albums?

No (automatic)

It's a good plugin, but I think Nant's is the most effective and easiest to use...

I too am not a fan of zoom. I do like how it integrates directly into joomla's db, but I can do that with gallery2 as well, just a little more work.

Gallery2 is WAY better.

Are you talking about the yet to be released Nants profile photo plug? Or does Nant have a gallery2 integration plug?

One of the things I LOVE about gallery 2 is the upload software. I have a resident program on my computer that allows me to drag and drop files to upload them to my gallery. Even hundreds of images upload with one drag and drop.

I've gotten gallery2 installed and integrated with joomla and CB now. Works pretty well. I like G2 better than zoom, especially for setting templates etc.

You have to mess with permissions and you unfortunately seem to have to turn on the gallery sidebar to allow the users to upload images.

About the automatic gallery creation.

I have some strangeness on the gallery creation. I have two accounts with the same full name but not the same username. I logged in and G2 created a galler for me. I uploaded images etc.

But then when I used any gallery admin functions, gallery assumed I was the OTHER name and created another gallery for that name. I'd delete the extra gallery and then it would create it again!

So I changed some settings in the backend joomla/gallery admin and hopefully that fixed it.

I see two different download at the download link in the first post:

1. Gallery2 Bridge 2.0.x
2. 3rd party plugins / CB 1.0 RC 2

I am running Joolma 1.0.8 + CB 1.0. + phpBB 2.0.15.

Joolma login has been disabled and replaced by the CB login, and I'm using CB <--> PhpBB Bridge to synch users between CB/Joomla and PhpBB.

My question is - which bridge to I use? the Gallery2 Bridge or the CB bridge referenced above???
