The component installed fine, but couldn't install the plugin. Am I missing something? Gave the "Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package" error.

Maybe you tried to install it as mambot?
Note that it is a Community Builder plugin, NOT a Joomla mambot!
Go to Components->Community Builder-> Plugin Management -> Install New Plugin

I see alot of reference to a Karma Plugin but I can't seem to find it anywhere ...

I assume it's a thirdparty plugin but I still can't find it
