I asked if it was published.

i cannot replicate your problem.

Please try and reinstall the profilebook plugin and report back.

no one else has reported this.

As I said in my PM response...

- backend language translation for plugin language strings does not exist (frontend works as you see)
- profile book is enabled by each profile owner. The profile owner must edit his/her profile and turn on the profile book (radio yes no field). Once on all other users (and even public if correct backend settings are given) can leave this profile user guestbook type entries (as on this site if you visit my profile). You (as a user) cannot leave yourself messages.

again - the missing language strings problem (as you put it) only happens in the backend tab area (or frontend if you havent published the plugin).

if it bothers you so much you have the following option:

- change the description on the backend on your own (if you have a single language site this is ok)
- I am not sure if moving the specific language strings from the plugin language file to the cb language file will work (try it).

So - I assume you got the profilebook working ok?

and that the frontend language problem you were experiencing is because you did not publish the plugin in the first place?
