SWEET!

thank you so much for taking time to spur development over here...

ive also looked at the cb picture admin software as a perfect idea for cb profile gallery admin stuff...

im gonna leave this window open, and when im done today im gonna try to whip up a plugin that will automatically do that check on all connection requests onBeforeMannageConnections or whichever specific trigger it needs.

is there a prewritten routine to check a userid to see if its valid?

if so that will save me hours

right now the plugin is showing the # of accepted connections a user has.

should it also check to see if mutual connections is set? would that make the data behave differently?

i also guess it should check if auto accept or deny is set and still there is a request.... or other situations you can think of....

right now my focus is if a userid is bad it will remove all connection data from the database.... and im hoping for an efficient or prewritten joomla function to verify a userid.

any luck/help? thanks...

the only way ghost connections can be created is if you manually delete a user via some other than the CB usermanagement backend method. and then sychnronizing users (in CB tools) should take care of this.

SoM,

please post your configuration (joomla, cb, etc) and if you are using some other login module other than CB.
Also are you perhaps using some other component that allows users to delete themselves?

As I stated before if you delete a user via the CB Usermanagement backend then the pending connection requests should be also removed - if not its a bug.

Can you verify this?
