CB Core Search PHP Fatal error was created by jmila

Hi,
I've installed the plugin in a Joomla v-1.7, CB 1.7.1 and it doesn't work. Where the module is shown:

PHP Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in /home/xxxxxxxxxxxx/public_html/modules/mod_cbcoresearch/helper.php on line 57

In the component page, when I want to create "New Search Field" the result is a Server Error:
The website encountered an error while retrieving xxxxxxxxxxx.com/administrator/index.php . It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.
