Conditions plugin

This is not possible. The plugin is only for "convenience", it hides fields or select values when editing. If you disable javascript, everythign will be shown.

OK. This is getting really confusing...

I am a newb to CB and the conditions plugin, although I am a fairly good sys admin/programmer. Anywho, what are the steps to get the conditions plugin working for a CB 1.0.2 installation? The download on the main Download section of this site needs to be updated. It's very old.

The forum on this website kinda sucks... I def. agree with the Wiki idea, what's holding that up???

Thank you for the time to develop this plugin though, it's def. a great enhancement to CB.

I'm watching this thread as well, this is exactly what I'm looking for, I can't find the plugin download? any clear instructions for installing would also be great.

I'm having a problem though. I installed the plug as per your README file, and setup a single condition so far.

I'm trying to do the classic "Display US States dropdown when USA is selected in Country dropdown."

I added a row in the jos_comprofiler_conditions table:
[code:1]ID Fieldname Value
0 cb_countrylist United States of America - USA[/code:1]

I then modified the jos_comprofiler_fields table:
[code:1]Name conditionid
cb_state ... 0[/code:1]

But when I go to the CB registration page on my website, the State dropdown is there even though I have not yet selected the Country.

Any advice? I'm sure this is probably a simple fix.

Earlier in this thread there is a post containing a plugin which tests if the required hack works. Try that first.
