Unfortunately, that's not really a solution.
The client wants user email addresses viewable in the user list. If I change the way email is handled in the "General" Configuration, it's global.
Meaning, if I truly want to hide a user's email address, all user email addresses are hidden. Or, if I choose to "Display Link to Email Form", other users can still send an email to a user who requests that their email address be invisible.
Or is there something else I'm missing?
