1. Oh, wait, so all the notifications (middle panel shown below) are sent via email or PMS? And the only ones where you have the option to send on-site notifications and/or email/PMS are the "Create Group" and "Join Group" options? No, everything on the GJ notification page will be email or private message unless you turn on either of the notifications in CB Activity > Parameters > Notifications > Notify for GJ those 2 notifications will be onsite.
2. Is there a way to set defaults for the notification types that do not appear in the CB GroupJive/Notifications/Defaults (looks like only two of them are available to choose from)Is there a way to set these notifications by default in case group members don't know where the setting is located?
Yes, you've already been configuring those. That's the purpose of the Defaults tab when configuring those notification parameters in GJ itself.

Yes.1. Oh, wait, so all the notifications (middle panel shown below) are sent via email or PMS?
All of them can send onsite. See the "Notifications" parameter in CB Activity? If enabled it will intercept the GJ notifications and also log an onsite notification for them. You can also replace the email notifications using the Replace setting so every notification is just onsite. Yes, the "Create Group" and "Join Group" in CB Activity are exclusively onsite at this time. And the only ones where you have the option to send on-site notifications and/or email/PMS are the "Create Group" and "Join Group" options?
All of those can have their defaults set. As explained earlier you need to edit their respective plugins. So the defaults for Events is in the CB GroupJive Events integration.2. Is there a way to set defaults for the notification types that do not appear in the CB GroupJive/Notifications/Defaults (looks like only two of them are available to choose from)
Only the 2 notifications within CB Activity are managed by CB Activity. Everything else is GJ.This is where I'm more confused, as I thought you mentioned some of the items are managed by CB Activity and thereby only sent via onsite notifications
You're not going to get notifications for your own activity. Create a test user. Have both users in the group. Have both users configured to receive notifications under that groups Notifications tab. Then have one of the users make a post. That's the easiest way to test this.Ultimately, right now I am not getting any notifications (onlite or email; have not tested pms). I apologize for asking so many follow-up questions as I try to figure this out.
