Upgrading ancient J3.1 site to J4 (and beyond) was created by mikerotec

I have an old site running Joomla 3.10, finally going to upgrade it to migrate to current Joomla.
Its running CB 2.9.0 and CBsubs 4.70 (and the website site is running on PHP 8.1.29)
Here is what I need to do:
▪ Check the compatibility of CB 2.9 and CBSubs 4.7 with Joomla 4.
- Find their specific upgrade documentation/process for migrating from J3 to J4.
- You may need to update to newer versions before or after the Joomla core upgrade. (?)
- Note any specific PHP requirements they might have. (?)

Can you please advise me on the best procedure, and assist with links to relevant documentation? Thanks muchly!

CB and our products are compatible with Joomla 3, 4, and 5. So just be sure you've the latest releases installed and you're basically fine. We had no issues migrating from 3 to 4 then to 5 with CB and our products. We did have issues with Kunena where we had to uninstall it then reinstall it once we migrated to Joomla 5. Can't say how other extensions react as outside of Kunena we only use our own products.
