OK - manually fixed over 100 columns that were NULLable, to NOT NULL.
After that, the Check Plugin Database links fixed the rest, mostly missing DEFAULT '' and collation settings.
The CBSubs download installed without errors.
All tool reports are green, and the database is backed up...
