CB Gallery extended use was created by activha
Hello
I was wondering whether it would be possible to extend CB Gallery to also support websites links.
This is great for videos on youtube, photos and files but I have a use case where users would like to display links to some websites or their knowing.
Would it be possible to extend the link case (used by youtube/vimeo) to also support websites links ? Get the title and image from metadata and store it in CB Gallery table ?
That would be much easier for me that having a lot of website fields in a group field for instance ?
What do you think about this ?
Thanks a lot

There are no plans for CB Gallery to support generic website links. It's not meant for link sharing, but media sharing.

They could share links in an activity stream, comment stream, or yes you could use a field group with a website field in it.
