I have a registration with a 100% off promotion {Applies to all purchases)

I know when a user completes the form and then gets directed to the second checkout page, they need to press the "Confirm" to complete the process.   This is great as it captures the info for abandoned cart situations.

So if a user has not confirmed, they appear in the basket (backend).  This has left the user in limbo even though the membership is free.

To try to resolve this I went in to "pay" even though the amount is "0".  (This is how I usually process offline payments)

The trouble is I see this message when trying to pay a "0" amount
Error
Failed to save Pay the basket manually because: This payment basket has no gateway associated so can not be paid manually.

My questions:

1.  Since I have temporarily waived fees is there a way to bypass the second page temporarily?

2. What other way is there to activate this member account?

2A. Deleting the basket entry and having them log in to reactivate?

2B. Delete the basket. go into their profile (membership tab) and select "pay now". (In this case, will this trigger any emails)

2C A better way?

Thanks!

UPDATE:

I tried this and it seems to be easy enough for low-volume manual activations:

1. Delete Basket entry
2. Go into the user profile and activate their membership tab

OR

1. Go into their profile and select "Pay Now" in the membership tab

I believe both both serve the same purpose,   The benefit of the second option is that it keeps a record of the basket in the database

Still wondering if there is a way to temporarily skip page 2 of the signup process as a backup plan for high-volume signups.

You can just give them a subscription directly by editing them in CB > User Management.

If you want to bypass the entire basket and payment flow entirely I suppose you could give all new registrations a free subscription using CB Auto Actions.
