CB Activities and streams

Hi

After configuring a lot I don't really understand the following.

A post is added in a menu item A with a stream A set with different parameters for likes/comments/...

Then we display this post in menu item B with a stream B but the post does not inherit from the settings of menu item B/stream B, it still displays all settings from menu/stream A

What do I miss to change the display of a post when viewed in different menus/streams ?

You didn't miss anything. It's working exactly as it should. A post is linked to its stream and will maintain what its stream permits. This wasn't possible before, but is what I had intended for posts to do from the start. If you want to post to Stream B from Stream A do what Recent Activity does and set the primary asset to another streams asset. It will then store to that stream instead of its own.

Could you precise what you mean ?

For now on stream A, my autoaction sets the asset of an activity X like activha.group.55.event.[event_id].activation.[user_id]
Stream A is set to not allow comments, share and likes as it's not needed first

Then I display the activity X on all activities and on Stream B. On Stream B I'd like to show only share, on all activities I'd like to show share, comments and likes.

Even if I set stream B with another primary asset, my activity X will still keep its asset set by stream A.

How can I reproduce the way it was set with CB Activity 5 ?

A post made on Stream A and displayed on Stream B will still use Stream A for its features. So if Stream B has no commenting, but Stream A does have commenting that post will have commenting no matter where it's displayed. This is entirely intentional as what features a post can have entirely depend on the stream it belongs to.

You can't. It working that way in CB Activity 5.0 was a bug because streams were dynamically built at time of display so it wasn't possible to do this before. About the best I could do is have Steam B turn off features of Stream A and that's it and it'd be for display purposes only.
