We don't provide a way for easily adding custom CSS to the backend. Our CSS overrides usage is for frontend only. You could use CB Auto Actions though and its Code action, which has a Method option to output CSS. Depends on where you want to add your CSS though as there may not be a trigger available for whatever page you want the custom CSS on.

Hi,
Thanks, my problem is, that the text area of the value layouts under parameter of fields have fixed width. I even cannot pull them wider with the mouse. It is not easy to work with bigger text. See enclosed image.
So probably you can improve this? Otherwise I will find a solution to add my custom css for this, no problem.
Thanks, best regards
Eric

Have added a feature ticket to make them block size, which will give them 100% width.

forge.joomlapolis.com/issues/8239

For the time being suggest just making your layouts in notepad and copy them over.
