The breadcrumb path always includes the menu structure followed by any pathways added by various endpoints. In profile edit case the pathway title "Edit Your Details" is added. For profile view it's the user formatname, etc.. What you're seeing is normal. If for example you don't have a Joomla menu item to CBs profile edit page then the menu alias in the breadcrumb would be to your profile, which originally was always the case. We'll be redoing all the pathing once we replace the frontend code.
