[SOLVED] mapping of address fields to CBSubs not working

THANKS!!! That solved several different items.
Also (in case others have the same issue), but adding an entry on the specific country in the order by I was even able to have the usual country display at the top of the list.

Looks like this is (hopefully) finally resolved.

Note the "Update On" functionality is officially replaced by the functionality provided in CB Core Fields so I do recommend using CB Core Fields Ajax for the "Update On" if you are using it. The usage in CB Query Field will be removed in 6.0.0.

Just curious ... what will happen when that is removed?

Will the update on just stop functioning or will be there be a 'transition' period, where we will get a warning before it is completely removed?

Just trying to think about how I might need to update this (and other sites) that use the update on feature. (I don't have a 'master list' that shows me everywhere I've used 'update on' across multiple sites).

In CB Query Field 6.0.0 once it's removed it will migrate the parameter name to match CB Core Fields Ajax usage and simply continue to work. So once CB Core Fields Ajax is installed if not already installed you should not notice it as it will seamlessly just work.

Although we were able to get most of our mapping to work with your suggestions, we still have a number of users who end up at the invoicing address screen and are having problems with the Sate/Province because there are no states listed unless you initiate a change in the country field.

Per your earlier comments:

This is a known issue.

Is there a fix planned, or a work-around possible?


Just wondering if you have any fix for the state/province select not properly being populated with a list of states when the Country is pre-populated with our default country ("United States").

There's no fix for this at this time. The initial state display doesn't appear to take into consideration the already stored country nor does it trigger the jQuery (either/or needs to be implemented).
