[#6666] Reset password not working was created by haasdijk
When a user tries to change his password via the cb profile page, he is notified that the entered current password is incorrect. I have tried to reproduce this and this is indeed the case.
When i use the joomla core plugin - by disabling the cb plugin via the parse urls tab in cb's joomla system plugin - it works OK. But i want to use de cb profile edit plugin instead.
I can't find anything recent about this issue on the forum (i've read topic #5197) so it must be something in my configuration?

Do you have "Verify current field" set to "Enable" within CB > Field Management found while editing the password field under Parameters > Validation tab? If so it requires them to verify their current password a long with entering their new password. You should see an input to "Current Password" along with the new password field. It should look like the following if enabled.

Yes, i have this enabled. When i disable this my problem is solved :-)

So with it enabled when you try to change your password and you supplied the current password it still gave that validation error?

Strange, seams to working fine in my tests. Does that affect every user or only a few users? Does it affect a newly created test user?
