[#6487] Gallery Image Icons was created by wbuk
We are using the gallery for an education site for students in Joomla, along side Moodle. They have to upload work into their profile We have manage to put the MS-Word Icon for work files, MS-Excel Icon for Excel Files, text and PDF Icon for PDF files. The images come from Font Awesome and there is a power point icon in there but it can't be put into CB. Is there a solution so that the Power Point can have their icons as well?

Have added a feature ticket to review for any missing file extension icon mappings.

Thank you that is very much appreciated. The students also do work on ms-publisher and the Serif range of products, is there a way we can add ourselves?

One other point, during testing, when you upload a file and click save, the upload screen stays there with no indication it has saved. The saved button remains. Under that is a DONE button and when you click on that you get the message that any unsaved work will be lost so students are confused if it has saved. They are used to it now but it is not clear. I wonder if you can simplify this, maybe the save button vanishes once it is saved, I am not sure or a message comes up saying, Saved, Click DONE to exit. etc.

I'll be adding support for any file extension that fontawesome provides. There's no way to add your own unless you modify the template files and change the icon output.

The save button is used to save changes to title, description, and folder. The done button indicates you're done uploading and making changes. It makes sure you're done as if you changed a description and didn't click save then your changes won't be saved.

This behavior is planned to change. In short it'll be keeping track of inputs that have changed. Clicking done would then save everything if it hasn't been saved yet and the confirm dialog will go away so there can't be any mistakes or confusion in that regard.
