Question is: How do I prevent the subscription from going to blank instead of FRM when the paid AAM subscription expires? I've always had to go in and add a row to the subscription table to create the FRM again.
We have 3 subscriptions
1. FRM = Free Registered Member (no expiration date - we just need alumni to be registered because much of our site is not 'public' - this is the default and what they should get as soon as then log in - this is working - see the 2nd image.
2. AAM = Alumni Assoc Member (valid for one year after paying subscription fee) - AAM allows access to set of content that the registered member (see 1) does not have access.
3. AAM-LIFE = Lifetime Free AAM - same as 2 but no expiration and they have access to everything and it is free to select few
So 1 and 3 never expire.
2 expires and when that happens, subscription should revert to FRM but it doesn't and then the person is blocked and can't log in at all - I then have to manually fix.
Found that it works sometimes when showing up with the combined FRM,AAM
As you can see in the 3rd image, we end up with just FRM, a combination of FRM,AAM, AAM by itself and blanks. I've never been able to get this to work 100% of the time.
Also, if a person just has a FRM subscription, they should be offered the ability to upgrade in their profile but some can't - such as the case with image #4
I need help to find this inconsistency or a way I can go in and manually fix each person's subscription type so that it does not continue to happen.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
